ABOUT

Hey! I’m Mia Watson, a photographer and filmmaker based in Utah. I fell in love with photography at 13 and haven’t stopped creating since. My work spans both photography and video, bringing ideas to life through bold, graphic, and design-inspired imagery with a sense of movement, form, and rhythm.

I grew up in Seattle, WA and discovered my love for visual storytelling in high school through Ballard High’s Digital Filmmaking Program. Dance has also shaped my perspective, with 20 years of ballet training and performing continuing to influence how I see and capture the world.

I love photographing people, places, products, and movement in ways that feel impactful and genuine. Whether through stills or film, my goal is always to create work that connects and leaves a lasting impression.

When I'm not behind the camera, you’ll find me baking, dancing, watching movies with my husband, and eating Ben & Jerry's Tonight Dough ice cream.
